Earlier this year, we made a last minute decision to visit Sale Water Park for the City of Trees Go Wild event. City of Trees are a movement aiming to restore Greater Manchester’s woodlands and generally make Manchester greener through planting trees, and their Go Wild event was aimed at getting kids outside.
A couple of weeks ago, I decided that the walk I had planned for our adventure day wasn’t suitable for me looking after Rowan and the furry woofers on my own (too much on a country road with no pavement). Turned out we were both pretty tired too, so we stayed local and visited Dunham Park.
So this post is a bit different to previous ones, but we had too good a day to leave it out. My previous posts have been about some of our adventures in the countryside but the common theme is getting outside. Last weekend we spent the afternoon getting outside, exploring Phillips Park and its new inhabitants – the dinosaurs!!!
