#AdventureCalling – April 2021

Who’s excited about being able to travel a bit further afield and start exploring the wild places again?  I know I am!  Our local, open spaces have provided some much needed outdoors time, but honestly, I can’t wait to visit somewhere new.  Saying that, we visited a not been to in recent memory, local National Trust site recently and had a really fab time.  We strolled through the woods and gardens, Rowan spotted birds and Rocky handled all the other dogs brilliantly – what a brave doggo!

So let’s start giving each other some inspiration! #AdventureCalling is the monthly linky to share your outdoorsy blog posts.  If it’s outside, me and Lauren from the Helpful Hiker would love to hear about it.  Let us have your big expeditions, mini adventures, days out, hints and tips.  We love old posts and new posts too.  Let’s create a list of places to visit from everyone’s adventures so we are ready to go when the time arrives.  And it’s a great way to support other outdoor bloggers and potentially reach new people too.

Every month, Lauren and I will read and comment on every post, and share it on Twitter.  Last month was full of great ideas, history and laughs.  Lauren really enjoyed The 3am Diary’s, 20 ways to keep family walks interesting and I laughed all the way through Holiday from Hels, 11 top tips for a Snowdon hikeHandmade in Israel’s, Tel Tzafit was just so interesting and full of fascinating facts, it would be wrong not to give them a mention.

Below are some notes on how #AdventureCalling works.  Hopefully everything is working, but do please give me a shout if there are any problems.  If you’d like to link up your post but are having problems, feel free to tweet them too me and I will add them in. And do pop back to read other people’s posts – you never know what you might find.
