Can you believe it’s December already?  It’s certainly been a unusual/difficult year for most of us, but hopefully you have been able to get outside, maybe exploring local areas a bit more.  We’ve recently been to local parkland watching the deer, and I’ve also found a quiet local field that has great visibility.  Having visibility is fab for me and my two fearful mutts as they get a bit of off lead running and I can keep an eye out for other “scary” dawgs whilst watching their happy faces as they charge about.  It’s certainly better than pavement pounding.

But now, it’s time for #AdventureCalling, the monthly linky for all your outdoorsy blog posts.  If it’s outside, me and Lauren from The Helpful Hiker would love to hear about it.  Let us have your big expeditions, mini adventures, days out, hints and tips.  We love old posts and new posts too.  If it’s outside, we want to read it.  The inspiration from everyone’s adventures could help you make plans for when current coronavirus restrictions are eased.  And it’s a great way to support other outdoor bloggers and potentially reach new people.

Every month, Lauren and I will read and comment on every post, and share it on Twitter.  Last month’s reading was fab!  Lauren really enjoyed Sensational Learning with Penguin’s, A November Walk in Northiam – it was brill and features BATS!   I loved The 3am Diary’s Christmas Gift: Ideas 20+ present ideas for kids who love the outdoors.  Perfect timing for me and I’m sure you will find some gift inspiration for the little legs in your life too.
